Commercial streets rarely have traffic moving in only one direction. Shoppers approach storefronts from opposite ends, cross between businesses and change direction as they browse. A single display face may therefore miss a significant part of the available audience. ZXT LCD completed five 55-inch double-sided portrait outdoor displays for a commercial street advertising project in Malaysia, and all five units have been shipped.
Each freestanding enclosure carries one screen on each opposing side. This double sided outdoor digital signage structure allows a single installed position to communicate with people approaching from two directions while maintaining a consistent portrait advertising format.

A conventional single-sided screen depends heavily on orientation. If its front faces one pedestrian flow, people approaching from behind may not see the content until they have already passed the display. Opposing screens reduce this limitation by giving both directions a dedicated viewing face.
The two sides do not need to show identical advertising. A retailer may use one face for customers entering a commercial zone and the other for people leaving, or schedule different campaigns according to the businesses visible from each direction.
Independent or coordinated playback depends on the selected media players and content platform. Project teams should confirm whether both screens share a schedule, require separate playlists or need centralized remote management before deployment.

Commercial street advertising needs to compete with shop signs, traffic, architecture and changing pedestrian attention. Portrait layouts should communicate the main message quickly, using a clear headline, recognizable product image and limited supporting text.
Content can also respond to location. The face pointing toward an entrance may introduce stores or promotions ahead, while the opposite face can support return visits, nearby services or another campaign. This directional approach makes better use of the physical double-sided structure.
Local language, campaign timing and cultural context should be reviewed by the advertiser. Hardware provides the display surfaces, but campaign performance depends on content quality, placement and audience relevance.

A display intended for two-way visibility should be placed where both faces have useful sightlines. It must not narrow the pedestrian path, obstruct storefront access or interfere with accessible routes and emergency movement.
The freestanding enclosure offers flexible placement planning before permanent installation because it does not depend on an existing wall. Once the position is approved, the unit still requires suitable foundation and anchoring based on ground conditions, local engineering and wind-related requirements.
Power, network and drainage routes should be coordinated below or around the cabinet without creating trip hazards. Service clearance must also be considered so technicians can access the equipment safely without blocking both sides of the street route.

Double-sided equipment places two operating displays and their related components into one structure. Internal arrangement, ventilation space, cabling and service access need to be organized so that work on one side does not create unnecessary risk to the other.
Environmental configuration should be selected against the Malaysian site’s temperature, humidity, rain exposure, sunlight and daily operating schedule. This project description does not assign unconfirmed brightness, IP rating, cooling technology, operating system or touch capability.
Routine maintenance planning should cover both display faces, visible surfaces, seals, cable connections and any confirmed thermal-management components. The maintenance schedule should reflect the actual outdoor conditions after installation.

For this batch, ZXT LCD reviewed the 55-inch portrait screen positions on both sides, enclosure assembly, visible finish and display operation according to the confirmed configuration. Keeping the five units consistent helps the installation team repeat foundation planning and maintenance procedures.
Before export packing, each unit was checked for visible damage, loose parts and confirmed accessories. Protective packing was prepared for the two screen faces and the freestanding cabinet during transport.
All five units have been shipped to Malaysia. This status confirms factory completion and dispatch, but it does not claim that installation, commissioning or advertising operation has already been completed on the commercial street.
Buyers should provide a site plan showing both pedestrian directions, expected viewing distances, foundation conditions, sunlight and weather exposure, power, network and maintenance access. They should also define whether the two screens will use shared or independent content schedules.

ZXT LCD provides outdoor enclosure manufacturing, component integration, inspection and export packing for international projects. This Malaysian order demonstrates how double sided outdoor digital signage can use one permanent location to address two directions of commercial street traffic.
